Tomorrow evening was the next Big Fight. John Dodson. Brett had made you watch his fight and drilled you on his tells. Then focus that pent up energy until after the gym closed down. Next morning you were out before the sun finished waking up running, trying to burn the sleep out of your eyes. Going through the park you hear a shriek like several firecrackers go off up ahead, and some cement shattering. You hear water spraying in that area aswell. It almost reminds you bombings from across seas. You do what you were trained to do- access the situation. The clearing was a Fountain. Was. Something had plowed through it, leaving singed marks covered with some kind of white powder. The pooled water still remaining in the fountain was on fire. The object was on the far side and you circle the area to get a better look. A streak went another 20 feet past the fountain and a small crater had a small pale girl. Blonde like spun gold, nearly seem to give off a glow, skin as white as alabaster, except where there was soot. She was kneeling in the crater, barely sitting up coughing up like she has just swallowed all that soot herself. (You have about 30 feet distance, and nobody else is visible in the clearing.)

I grab my phone and dial 911 as I rush to the females side, avoiding any areas of the ground that looks unsteady or dangerous.

"Where..." is all she get out around the coughing before passing out. The EMT's get teh info and say they will have help there as soon as possible, and ask you to stay on the line. The girl's accent sounded foreign, or maybe that was just cause of the smoke. She seems to be draped in cotton, but has a shortsword and gold? armor covering her right arm. Despite all that she doesnt seem to have any shoes. The EMT and police arrive soon, quick statements are taken, and your taken with her up to the hospital. The Nurses there tell you she seems to be physically fine, a bit malnourished, but as already started to wake up. There a pair of cops waiting aswell to see what they can get from her side of the story.

I stay at her side, remembering all my training of dealing with explosions in close proximity. Hearing loss, loss of balance, ect. I also stay nearby thinking of how little I would like to wake up in a hospital with no one around but nurses and police officers. Never been a medic, but I know enough to eye the heart monitor and examine her for any wounds that might not be readily aparent. Which i do visually, without touching her. Who is she? What happened at the fountain? Perhaps an exposive inside the spout? I hope she isn't the culprit behind it. I think about returning to the fountain, but still dont like the idea of her waking up alone. So I sit back down and walk through my memories of exactly what happened when I walked up, trying to see if I missed a bag, or some form of device that could have been the detonator.

The Nurse tells her to slow down as she reaches for the third cup. A Cop is watching from the doorway, his partner still outside in the hall with the shoulder piece and sword. "Excuse me miss, but we just need to make sure everything is alright. Can you tell me your name?" She looks up bewildered as she finally get a decent look around the room, and at the machines attached to her. She rip the IV out of her arm and tries to roll out of the bed towards you. She doesn't get very far as the nurse was ready and already trying to get her back into bed. She searches the room, quickly as she struggles and finally lays eyes on you. Her eyes glow White for a flash, the cop and the nurse are to busy trying to get the her to calm back down, but a powerful glow of warmth and purpose fills you. In a split second that seems to last for moments you swear she mouths 'Get me out of here' to you. This feels like something you must do. The moment ends as the nurse somehow procures a muscle relaxant already.
(You currently have a very focused goal, get the girl out of the hospital, and away from the cops. You do not have to harm them, and your own morality might prohibit excessive force. It also doesnt seem to be something that you have to do this very moment, but it is something that you should probably get done in the next few hours.)

Not entirely understanding why I feel this way doesn't stop me from knowing what I must do. "Officers, perhaps we should let her recover a bit more before questioning her about the ordeal. Some food first, IV's or not real food will help." My mind starts racing, If I can get them to let me take her out for a bit of fresh air then perhaps we can get away from the hospital. They said nothing is wrong with her other than she is malnourished, which I can help with back at the gym as easily as they can here. So first things first is to try to get everyone out of the room, and bring her food, then try to get her out of the hospital for some fresh air. If all else fails I might be able to get Brett to pull in a favor with the gym doctor to get them to release her to him...

She stops struggling as she hears you speak up for her. The nurse seems a little jumpy, watching to see if she starts thrashing again.
She slowly moves herself back into a sitting position, watching the nurse and Cop like they might jump her at any moment. She quick fires a short speech, you hear it. They hear it as well, and are just as confused. The dialect sounded somewhat familiar, maybe something you heard on your Tours, but just can’t place it.
“What did she just say?” Cop #1 asks after a long pause.
“I have no idea…” The nurse responds as she puts the needles away. The cop takes out his phone, and brings up the video options.
“Miss, could you say that again?” She seems to be look worried at the phone pointing at her. She lets out a short sentence, well it sounds like it anyway. The cop looks like he saving it. He turns to the nurse “Listen my partner and I are going to head back up to the station for now, keep her here and if there are anymore episodes like that, you will have to have her restrained. I’m going to see if our linguist guy has any idea what she’s spouting.” He looks over towards you, “And Mr. Mellir, you said in the report that she spoke before she passed out?” he asks as he waves for you to enter the hall with him.

I step into the hall with the officers, keeping an eye on the room. "It sounded like, 'where' but perhaps my mind just put in a word that sounded close to whatever she said in her language."

“Thank you very much for your assistance. Will you be waiting with her for a while longer? If so could you see if she says anything else? Any help would be much appreciated, and Good luck on your match tomorrow night.” He asks before taking off with his partner, the nurse comes to the doorway. “Excuse me, I still need to make sure we have something hooked up to her to watch her vital and get more fluids into her. She’s not letting me get anything back on her.” The nurse seemed kind of stressed, You had already been here for nearly three hours and besides hooking her up to everything when she first arrived the nurses hadn’t been able to spare any time for her with a string of people coming in from across town. The nurses were still in a haste over the other patience with some still sitting in the hallways as they made more room. “Could you try to get her to eat as I go check on her bloodwork?”

"Sure I can handle it." I go in and explain whats going on. I tell her to get ready to go, I am going to get us a route out of here. I step into the hall and speak to the nurse at the desk. "She is gonna eat then sleep for awhile please dont disturb her she has had a really rough day. As I am out in the hall I spy the best way to get her through the hall away from the nurses who might recognize her. Slipping back into the room I say, "Follow me, act natural but keep your head down."

The nurse agrees readily as she keeps at her work, The bright hair of hers is kinda noticeable, but with how many patience you might be able to to get by. Move Silent Check (+5 from Distractions) -rolled nat 20 After nodding in agreement she follows you out. She looks around for a moment when out in the hallway, looking crestfallen at all the hurt people. She seems to pull it together and asks quietly as she moves with you away from the nurses station. "Where's my sword?" The last you saw the partner still had it when they left.

"Sword? Cops took it, musta thought it looked enough like a real weapon to confiscate it." I say as we move through the hospital. I quickly call Brett and ask him to come pick us up nearby.

Brett says he'll be over there soon. The girl keeps vigil as you wait for the pick up. Doesn't seem to keep her head down and constantly looking towards noises and passerbys. She was weary of the drink you bought for her, like she never had starbucks before, but seemed to fall in love with it rather quickly. and it was gone nearly as quickly. Pretty sure that was still fairly hot. "May I have another?" she asked handing you back the cup. Brett was coming down the packed road. Seemed a number of people where on there way to the hospital.
